Learn how to create the cool, drifting 'Lost' logo, used
in the TV adverts.
Step 01
Create a new document with a black background approximately
600px x 400px. Then create a new layer titled Lost Logo.
Using the Text Tool and Verdana Text at 72pts, write the
word, 'LOST' (without the quotes) using the color, 929191.
Step 02
Display the Character Window
Step 03
Set the tracking in the Character Window to 200.
Step 04
Duplicate the text layer then right-click on the layer
and choose Rasterize Type.
Step 05
Choose Edit > Transform > Rotate.
Give it a spin using the Move Tool until it's around 45 degrees from horizontal.
Step 06
Right click on the image then choose Distort
from the popup menu.
Step 07
Drag the corners until they are approximately in the positions shown.
Step 08
Next, right click on the object and choose Perspective from the popup menu.
Step 09
Set the perspective by dragging the bottom-right corner until it flips to the position shown

Now we need to give it the ghostly, wispy look of the TV ad. Choose Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur
